Hi, my name is Wendy Halverson. I am the Director of Customer Relations at HomeGym100.com and you can contact us anytime. =)
I enjoy spending time outdoors, but with a young kid and a family, working out doesn’t easily fit into the schedule. You know what I mean.
Originally, I came up with the idea for this website because I was frustrated with the cost of gym memberships. Plus, I wanted to have a way to workout “on the fly”, where I didn’t have to depend on weather, expensive equipment or driving somewhere.
Basically, I wanted to workout from home for cheap.
Of course, that’s not all I wanted. =)
Let’s add a few more things to my home gym for under $100:
- A simple workout plan to follow, so I didn’t have to figure it out myself.
- Compact training equipment that didn’t take up much space or require me to take over the garage.
- I wanted to train my whole body. Not just legs. Not just cardio. Or core work. Or just stretching. I wanted it all. Yes, it’s a lot to ask.
I discovered, interestingly, that there is not just one way to accomplish all of these things. In fact, you have lots of options when it comes to setting up your own custom home gym for under $100.
You can choose from stability balls, TRX bands, power towers, dumbbell workouts and even rowing machines. All of which have options for about $100 or less. Plus, It’s pretty surprisingly how great fo a workout you can get with minimal equipment and just your own body weight!
Note: By the way, many of these exercises require minimal impact. Therefore, if you are recovering from an injury or want to avoid high impact activities, you will like what you find here. =)
If you have a question about creating your own home gym for under $100, please contact us. I am happy to help.
Wendy
